Our Property
Stafford Cottage was built as a farm labourer’s cottage in about 1750 and still retains many original features. It has two bedrooms (double bed and one single bed) to sleep three, kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower over bath, dining room and lounge (with double sofa bed which sleeps two). Travel cot available upon request. It has been tastefully refurbished keeping many of the old features, oak beams and a large inglenook fireplace which has a wood burning stove with a good supply of logs available for the winter months. No dogs. No smoking.

Stafford Cottage is situated in the small village of Colyford, East Devon,(www.colyfordvillage.co.uk), nestled in the heart of the countryside, yet close to the sea. Our country cottage is perfectly located for a weekend break or a leisurely mid-week holiday.

Visit our charming country cottage to let in Devon with its quaint comfy rooms, low ceilings in the lounge and dining room, typical of the 1750s era. Each room is personally decorated. Wood-burning stove. Gas central heating. TV. Radio. Bed linen provided. The cottage is extremely well equipped.
